A New Way to Learn Chinese Language
Summer 29 Days of Chinese Language Study in China

This program which is organized by Chinese Language Association of Secondary-elementary school, Beijing Municipal Unesco Clubs Association and Hope Education Foundation, includes 80 hours of English-Chinese lectures in the classroom and more than 100 hours of Chinese language conversation. The curriculum set-up will be according to language study and regulation under the best Chinese language environment. The teacher will lead and tutor students how to continuously practice the Chinese language by following three guidelines: teach within a structured system, obtain a common goal, and learn through tests and examinations. Teaching will be separated into different subjects from the easiest to most difficult levels. The ultimate goal of this course is to enable the students to put Chinese in a practical use. Additionally, students learn how to use the Chinese dictionary. By understanding the Chinese language, students will increase their perception and understanding of the history and culture of China.
The program provides an environment for cultural exchange and friendship buildup between American and Chinese students. Some activities include: pick and pack fruits in the orchard, learn how to make dumplings, Hu-Tong sightseeing attraction, and shop in the famous Xiushui, Hong Qiao and antique markets.
