Chinese middle/high school student to study in the US is one of the exchange programs established by Hope Education Foundation, which has been concerned and supported by all levels of china educational associations. In Aug, 1997, the first time, 22 students for Beijing successfully conducted a 15-day study and exchange activities in the US. According to the goal of HEF, it will organize 100-200 high/middle school students with good academic performance to study in the US in the annual summer and winter vacation, in order to broadening horizons, expanding knowledge, enhancing the students� thinking and scientific and cultural qualities, and promoting friendly relationship between the US and China.

1. Exchange place
(1) The exchange area for visiting west America: Los Angeles San Francisco San Diego
(2) The exchange area for visiting west America \ East America: Los Angeles San Francisco San Diego
2. Departure time
(1)The summer (winter) camp, for west America area, from July 15 to August 20 per year and winter vacation period goes to America, the tour will takes 12 days.
(2)The summer (winter) camp, for east America and west America area, from July 15 to August 15 per year and winter vacation period goes to America, the tour will takes 15 days.
3 . Cost
(1)The group fee for the summer (winter) camp for west America area: ____RMB/person adding air ticket: ____RMB/person
(2)The group fee for the summer (winter) camp for west America and east American area: ____RMB/person adding air ticket: ____RMB/person
The journey offered by sponsor will be the subject, including all air ticket, the transportation , the accommodation, the meal, the attraction fee and education activity expense.
4.Payment and cancellation policy
(1)This activity just faces to all schools in China, sign up in the schools.
(2) Pay RMB3, 000.00 when signing up, after visa pay the rest 3 days after get visa.
(3)Temporary cancel
A: if not got visa, it will be deducted RMB1000 and return the rest .
B: after got visa , if the applicant cancel the tour , will deduct the fee as below :
[1] For humanity reason and the applicants have the accident temporarily and fall ill will be deducted the air ticket loss expense and RMB3,000.00, other will be returned completely.
[2]If the reason from applicant is not acceptable, it will deduct RMB 3,000.00 and all the loss of expense $700.00.
C: cancel the journey after confirm the ticke , It will deduct the loss of ticket expense beside deduct [B].
D: cancel the journey after hold the visa, the passport will be returned to US consulate , visa will be cancelled and back to the applicant .
Operate flow of the Chinese middle-school students to visit the USA the study exchange association project
In order to coordinates various local organization and middle-school student to go to America well , presently will concern the operation sequence specification to be as follows.

The Management Regulations for Students and Student抯 Passport
1. The students within the boarder of U.S. has to follow the State Law definitely.
2. After the students arrived in U.S., the American host organization should report safe and sound to sponsor in China and will provide the name and the phone number of hotel and family which students live to each students� parents before the group starts to travel around America .
3. Report any problems to the group leader and host organization if necessary.
4. Passports should hand to the U.S. host organization when the students entered U.S. , and they only keep the passport copy. The passports will be returned to students when all departure registration formalities and done; the host organization has power to ask Chinese Consulate in U.S. to cancel students� passport and report the result to sponsor if he or she leaves the group without any authorization after 48 hours.
5. Each member must observe the activity plan and must follow the route. Host organization has right to send the student back if she or he violates the stipulations. And she or he will accept the consequences. The host organization won抰 bear any cost and won抰 refund any fees.
