The International Exchange Students Program
"The international Exchange students Program" is a project for the purpose of improving and enhancing the mutual understanding and respect among different nations, training the youths' world view, so that students from all over the world are unlimited by different areas, tribes and cultures to gain the opportunity to exchange and communicate ideas each other, which can cultivate students' sense of responsibility, independent thinking ability and strain capacity. The students Participating in this program are called "Exchanging Students",  namely "The International Student Exchange".
The Origin of History
"The International Student Exchange Program" originated after the Second World War, for solving contradiction and hostility between adversaries in the war, enhancing mutual understanding, exchanging of culture, and promoting communication among countries all over the world, from 1947, the U.S. government provided financial assistance and issued non-profit educational institutions to operate and engage in The International Student Exchange Project. Government agreed that international students study in the American Public High School, and experience American life. Exchange Students hold J-1 visa for one year during studying in the United States.
American High School Exchange Students Project
The United State Department in 1995, formally approved China's accession to the "International Student Exchange Program", the record number is EVP P-3-5950. The content is that every year, Chinese students can apply to study abroad in the American Public High School. During study, Exchanging Students live together with American home stay and build up friendly relationship with family members. It is the perfect opportunity for students to learn American society, culture and customs, and contact with mainstream society. At the same time, students can share Chinese culture and history with American family, teachers, classmates and residence. Every student living in US should take the responsibility as a cultural ambassador to dedicate himself for sustainable social and economic development between US and China
Profit of International Exchanging Student Program for Chinese students
Students and their family usually worry about the various challenges during study abroad. Students have to not only adapt to the western education system that is totally different from Chinese, but also deal with cultural differences, independent living, and language barriers. Comparing with other foreign students from speaking english countries, all theses things will make Chinese students be a backward position from the beginning of studying life.
However, American High School Exchange Students Program will set up a platform to help Chinese students to adapt a strange environment, and make them experience foreign culture and life during their high school, which will be a solid foundation for their future development.
Applicant Qualification
1. Well-behaved, good moral character.
2. Good adaptability.
3. Talented and all transcripts must be excellent in academic performance.
4.  Good English communication skills, SLEP grade must be accepted by HEF and co-organization.
5. the applicants and their parents should be interviewed, showing a good family background and economic strength.
6. 15 to 17 years old, have not yet graduated from high school.
7. physical and mental health, and provide all the proof of immunization.
8. the applicants should promise that after finishing studying schedule of one year, they have to return to their home countries.

Before Oct. 31, every year

One-year Program: Aug. to Jun. of next year
Responsibility of Organization
1, Interviewing applicants
2, According to application materials to evaluate, then admit eligible students
3, Interviewing and screening friendly host families
4, Arranging American High School , and accommodation and meals in host family, finally give students written detailed  information.
5, Responsible for training and management host family for the entire process.
6, Training before departure and arranging itinerary before reaching the host family
7, Responsible for communication and management of students during studying in US
8, Record a quarterly report of the students' academic transcripts and progress , be in charge of students' medical insurance in the United States during the project
10, Help students solve the troubles related program during studying in US
11, A 24-hour emergency telephone assistance.
