Project Description and Price
1. The Project description
This project is advocated by Beijing Capital Normal University (BCNU) and Hope Education Foundation (HEF). The specialty is based on the test result the students could enroll the class every two weeks during the two month of every summer from Wednesday of last week in June to middle of August. The students could select the service and the period they need to learn (at least 4weeks). Our teaching goal is very clear to improve the student’s background and the level.
2. Curriculum.
30 total class hours in every week, 14 class hours for language and testing, 10 class hours for practice and tutorial and 6 class hours for Chinese culture. The students will take a test and examination every one and two weeks.
3. Class designed
The project has the beginning, middle and advanced 3 class level. The beginning class is designed for students of non-Chinese family. The middle and advanced classes are designed for students of Chinese background family. We try to help students of middle and advance to be able to read and understand simple story and articles of the newspaper.
4. Chinese practice companion - Language Partner
we arrange the Chinese practice companion 3 times in every week, which will help students to improve culture and language. Through the twelve times activities, it will improve students’ ability of using various tools such as map, dictionary, internet, telephone…etc. to resolve problems which occur in daily life. Through the twelve events of half-day activities outside of the classroom, students shall become familiar with the Beijing’s transportation system such as bus, subway, and taxi. Under the tutoring language assistance program, students will also acquire the ability of self sufficient mobilization. At least four topics shall be completed within the twelve times activity events.
5. The weekend activities
During the 4 weekends, we will arrange the students to visit Tiananmen Square, Great Wall, Ming tomb, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo, Fragrant Hill, the Beijing Botanical Garden, the Beijing Technology Museum, Hu Tong tour, and many more.
6. Enroll and class level test
The class will start on Wed of the last week in each June. The students could enroll the class based on the placement test.
7. Applicant age
Applicant age must be over 12 years old.
8.The charge for learning Chinese in Capital Normal University
$2650/pp plus airfare ticket; Single supplements add $435.
If register 150 days before departure date, you can get $200/pp discount; if register 90 days before departure date, you can get $100 discount; if two or more people enrolls together, you can get $50/pp for discount. One person can only claim one discount.
